Publications as a Junior at University of South Florida

American Literature from 1865 to 1912, taught by Valerie Lipscomb, Ph. D., challenges this poet.  Soon, I receive my grade on a Booker T. Washington Leadership Project.  I'm at work on a critical essay examining sexuality in an Edith Wharton short story.  American Literature, from Beginnings to 1860, I've tapped to take in Spring 2012.  This course, deeply immersed in the writings of our Founding Fathers, engages the brightest USF students.  The alternative student balance act is like no other.

"Identity Replacement," a new poem, appears in the February 2012 Issue of Red River Review (http://www.redriverreview.com/).   "Before I Ask to Take Her", "Sailboats," and other poems of mine also are available at Red River Review.

"Sleep Aide," microfiction, can be perused at 50 to 1, http://www.50-to1-.blogspot.com/.

"Trespass to Eternity," and "Until Dawn Sinks," poems, continue my work as Contributing Poet on MadSwirl.com, http://www.madswirl.com/.  Thanks to my poetry editor at Mad Swirl, mh, for always extending a helpful hand.

"Missing Poem," my first published poem appears in the August 2010 Issue of The Houston Literary Review.
http://thehoustonliteraryreview.com/Documents/august_2010_poetry.pdf

"My Wife in Our First Year" appears in http://www.outwardlink.net under Features and Sander Blome.

"An Unquiet Peace," also on http://www.outwardlink.net  under Features and my name.

There is a small monthly subscription fee for Abandoned Towers Magazine, http://abandonedtowers.com/blog/ , where my poem "Attack" appears in the archives.

"The Peace Bond" is due in a forthcoming issue of The Toucan Magazine, http://thetoucanonline.blogspot.com and in their print edition of that issue.

Three of my poems are due out in different issues of the Red River Review, http://www.redriverreview.com.  "The New Apartment," "Before I Ask to Take Her," and "Fishing Boats and Basketball Hoops," had made the November 2010, January 2011, and April 2011 issues, although I am unsure which poem is in which issue.  Remember April is National Poetry Month.
